Tom has been involved in Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing since his days at San Diego State University, where Tom was SDSU’s first Sports Publicity Director. Tom was with Phillips-Ramsey for more than 25 years starting as a copywriter, advancing to executive vice president. In 1977 he left to form Venture with founding partner Glenn Collins.
The Aztecs are still a big part of Tom’s life. He still volunteers with publicity, and is their #1 fan. Tom has been to 783 Aztec football games since his college days. Tom has written two books. His most recent - GO AZTECS!, now in its third edition - explores the highlights of his first 770 Aztec games.
Tom is a Navy veteran, having served aboard the USS Alabama.
Jill has been with Venture for more than 25 years, and is closely involved with all phases of the business, especially her strength as our media coordinator, negotiating advertising rates. She also maintains up-to-date contacts with editors, writers and freelancers for publicity, as well as riding herd on Venture's Project Control System. And, as a photographer she has captured some of our best shots at the Del Mar thoroughbred races each summer.
Ken has been involved in Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing for more than 35 years. Prior to joining Venture, Ken was Marketing Manager for Hunter Douglas Window Fashions in the San Diego area, where he developed and implemented advertising campaigns, marketing promotions, dealer events and many other projects. Ken develops all of our social media. He has also been one of Venture's photographers for 35 years. Ken is a graduate of San Diego State, where he studied advertising.
Glenn is an accomplished commercial and fine artist. Although Glenn had retired from us full-time, he is still available for his special skills especially in the area of branding development and logo enhancement, as well as photography.
Glenn is a veteran of the US Army.
Steve has written more than 80 original songs and has recorded voiceovers and soundtracks for training videos and websites. He is also involved with trade show publicity media and client publicity placement.
Steve is a graduate of the Recording Arts program at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
